I’m not your typical “Thing didn’t go well so angry time” person, but whatever I try to do, it rarely goes my way and the upset builds in me like a pressure cooker. Every time I try the same thing again and it continues to go wrong I fall into the trap of a self fulfilling prophecy, knowing it’s not going to go my way but doing it anyway, and it only serves to drag my emotional state further down. I have a deep need for “justice” in my life, so things not going my way only makes me continue fighting until it does, even if it never will. Maybe I just need to retrain my brain to abandon and step away after the first time. submitted by /u/Archmikem
