Am I the only one getting tired of typing into an empty text box and waiting for a response? The real shift happening right now isn’t a new LLM benchmark; it’s moving from “chatbots” to autonomous background workers. The most life-changing AI tools I’ve used lately don’t even have a chat interface. They just sit quietly in the background, monitor dashboards/databases, execute multi-step APIs, and only surface when a human judgment call is actually required. We are transitioning from “prompting an assistant” to “managing a digital assembly line.” If your agent still requires you to hold its hand every two steps, it’s just a shiny UI, not a true agent. submitted by /u/netcommah
