Hey all, Wondering if there is any official guidance (cant find any) or any playbooks you have figured out for managing capability upgrades. Now we have 4.8 + dynamic workflows. This really changes how we work significantly. I did like 17k loc recently mostly unattended, but it took two days of having the workflow running all day and me just checking in now and again to compact before it got over 40% context. In the end, 12 parallel subagents found no p1 or p2 issues. My manual testing similarly confirmed that it was quality work. This work was done after about half a day of planning which specced out 8 increments, of which the 17k loc was the final migration and tidy up step. My problem now is, I feel like I overdid it on the planning or decomposition and I actually could have had Claude do this even more independently. As I head into the second part of this major piece of refactoring I have planned, I wonder if there is a new better way I should be working in. I don’t expect you to be able to tell me how to work, but my question is more generally, how do you figure out how to adjust your workflows after each capability improvement? Are there any docs, forums, anthropic sources which explain what to do or we have to figure it out from first principles each time? submitted by /u/corporal_clegg69
