If you have managed to try the new model it sort feels okay I mean the numbers (which really don’t translate to the output) they showed on benchmarks are pretty good. You would think this is the time to find those bugs and vulnerabilities and maybe even run a proper audit but you would be surprised as that ain’t the case here. Way too much gate keeping and the moment it even smells you’re about to touch on anything close to Cyber security or biology it’s over for you, you will get that “Request was blocked” and get switched back to 4.8. This whole thing just feels like the model is good but the guard rails are way too strict for one to do what you would expect for a Mythos level model. Worse is this looks like a new cash cow as you only getting access with existing pro subscription for the next two weeks and then this moves to extra usage model. There’s a lot more we could get out of this model especially for security folks, hopefully Anthropic figures a much better way to balance between usage of the model and of course abuse. For now back to 4.8 and see what we get down the road in a month or two. By the way try the car wash question submitted by /u/External_Swan2340
