Here I am. Grinding elite clues to pass the time. I require a crab claw and helmet on Wintumber island with the crab emote for this step. I had a crabclaw and hook, figured it was the same, and headed down to dive at Khazard for a fresh crab shell to craft, to make a helmet since I didn’t have. Collected 5 rocks, head into the pen. The fresh crab shell is 1/8-1/16. Easy grind I assumed. So I start killing. 10 dead. 20 dead… 40 dead… I was reaching close to 60 crabs dead, still no shell. I felt as if something was bugged. I was starting to get frustrated. Finally I get the shell drop! Great! Attempt to make helmet: with 99 crafting and a 6% chance, I break the fucking shell. I was about to lose my shit. Here goes another mini grind. Kill 25 more. Get a second crab shell. Finally make my helmet. Head to deepfin point, summon boat, sail to wintumber island, equip crabclaw & hook, as well as helmet, do emote, nothing happens. Crab claw and hook doesn’t work for this step!!! JAGEX!!! It says to equip crab claw which this is a variant! Reeeeeee! I head back to khazard, dive a second time, collect 5 rocks, kill another 15 crabs, get another fresh crab claw, craft the claw, teleport back to deepfin point, sail to wintumber island a second time, equip items, and finally proceed with my clue step LMAO.
