Hey, For the past 2 years I was working on myself, physically and mentally, I woke up early, went to the gym, read books, etc. However during all that structure and focus, I started feeling empty, the feeling grew as time passed. And it worsened a lot every time I was supposed to rest. Eventually, after the pattern repeated itself a couple of times, I realized that the emptiness I was feeling wasn’t because I wasn’t doing enough, it was because I was avoiding something. So the work I’ve done for the last 2 years (which tbf improved me a lot) was all a subconscious distraction. From what? I don’t now know yet. I heard that the best solution to do in this stage is to take a pause, and eventually everything will unfold as time passes. So in the meantime I’m just chilling, doing nothing, I want to know what I was distracting myself from, and what new path should I take. However nothing happened. I’ve been at this “pause” for nearly 3 months. So I thought I’d come here in search for some advice. Since what I’ve been doing isn’t working. I’m 20 male in uni. submitted by /u/Ok_Climate8599
