I have some scars on my arm from when I was about 15, over a decade ago, I have not self harmed since. Unfortunately due to my really pale skin + they’re still pretty noticeable and prominent and they look more recent than they actually are. They don’t reflect my personality or my current stability and and pretty embarrassing. I cover them up every day with coverup but was thinking about wanting to get a tattoo over them, not anything ugly just some flowers or a bird or something, however I’ve also heard tattoos are a big turn off in women and men assume women with tattoos are crazy, so it feels like a no-win situation here.
