I went through a lot of bullying growing up, and as a result I have really bad social anxiety sometimes. I also have ASD so I struggle to maintain eye contact with people at times. I feel that people don’t perceive me as a masculine guy sometimes and that I appear “soft”, “innocent”, or non-threatening. It also doesn’t help that I look younger than my age. Not that I want people to fear me, but I want that respect that more masculine guys get. And please don’t tell me about how masculinity is toxic, stupid, or that I shouldn’t try to become more masculine. Thanks! submitted by /u/Trainengineer97
