I have a large room in my basement that would be great for storage shelves but only half of the floor is concrete. The rest is dirt. We’ve nicknamed it the “murder room”, and we have no idea why it’s dirt. I’ve thought about tamping it down, covering it in gravel, re tamp it down, then concrete.
