Most CLAUDE.md examples I see are purely technical — file structure, code conventions, tech stack. That stuff matters but people are sleeping on the personal layer. I took a quick personality test (~5 min), fed the results to Claude, and had it generate a working style profile for my global config. It actually adapts how it communicates based on it. I ended up with a 3-tier system: Global ( ~/.claude/CLAUDE.md ) — loaded every session, everywhere. Purely about me. Communication style, decision-making preferences, working patterns. Zero project details. Workspace CLAUDE.md — sits in my main working directory. Project list, tech stack defaults, routing logic. Table of contents. Project CLAUDE.md — each project gets its own playbook with conventions and session protocols. The global personality layer is what made the biggest difference. It shapes every interaction across all projects, not just one. Try adding something like “Lead with the answer.
