I met this guy on tinder. We had great chemistry, he was very consistent then I started noticing he felt like he wasn’t enough. I mention something about me traveling for work, he immediately says he has barely been outside the country. I mention something about work (we work in related fields) he complains how he’s not doing good enough at work. I decide to buy my own place - he says he’s been saving for years to afford his. The list goes on. So he ends up breaking things off a bit more than a month after we started dating but then texts for my birthday, reacts to my posts, etc and we end up chatting a few months after. He offers to help me move, I agree and keep some stuff in his basement, meet his dad, then we go out on several dates where he insists on paying. We chat constantly, make jokes with sexual innuendo, etc. A month passes again but he still hasn’t made a move so after our last date I confront me and he still claims he just wants to be my friend and says mind you: I just have an inner feeling that I need you in my life but it’s not at all costs. submitted by /u/ihateallofyoursugg
