Hi all, First, thanks for reading. My husband works in manufacturing. Works 20 min from our home. Makes $120k. Good benefits. Good work life balance (mostly). Company is pretty stable, been in business more than 20 years. Business is good, expanding even. He has a possible job opportunity to make $180-200k, but the commute would be an hour each way. The company feels more like a start up- doing well now but the future may be uncertain. They’ve been around maybe 10 years. Excellent benefits with this one. I’m a stay at home parent so no income at this time. We could use the money to pay off debt and just try to save in general. But is the risk too great? What would you do?
