Hello, I am holding a B permit since 2021 (I arrived in Switzerland in 2020) and I am coming with my wife from an EU country (she is from Austria, I am from France). We initially arrived in Valais, french part but are now living in BL. She doesn’t speaks french, I don’t speak German. We would like to know if we could apply for a C permit, I am getting contradictory information, specifically concerning the language, some people saying I would need at least a B1 in German, other people saying as I speak french this could be skipped. What is the normal process to make the request or to ask those questions to the proper authority in BL? We both make our own declaration of taxes, so we are aware of the taxes changement from B to C permit. Thank you very much for your help submitted by /u/anonymous17402
