Hello everyone. I’m an international student currently studying and living in Geneva. I recently completed my bachelor’s degree here and will be starting my master’s in September. I’m currently on ‘break’, so to speak, although I am looking for a part-time job until summer starts. My plan is to hopefully start working before the end of March, but before then, I’m planning on visiting some other places in Switzerland. I most likely can’t afford staying several days anywhere, but I thought I might try taking a train from Geneva in the morning and coming back in the evening, and only maybe paying for lunch there. The first destination I have in mind is Luzern. I wanted to ask if a one-day trip there (the city, not the Canton) is realistic if I want to see most of its ‘highlights’. Or would you recommend I take at least two days? Do you have any specific places I should make sure to visit? submitted by /u/Majestic_Salt1282
