I’m 30M and I haven’t had a girlfriend since I was 19/20. I’ve had loads of sex, dates and situationships but no real girlfriend. I have to say a lot of that has been a choice of mine in the sense that I just always liked someone else rather than getting 0 female attention. Around 25-27 I put on loads of weight and then now have lost it but I went out to meet some uni friends and I noticed all of them had partners to go home to and I didn’t. I had a date a couple of months ago and she was a lovely but again, not for me. I think I’m destined to be on my own and it’s sad. I’m also neurodiverse which makes thinks a lot harder for me. How do you all deal with it? It’s not that it makes much practical difference on a day to day but you do notice how the traditional trajectory is for a guy to have a partner and I just can’t seem to find one. submitted by /u/Brownchoccy
