23 F wanting to date. Don’t date bc I been focusing on school/work and haven’t dated for a few years bc I don’t want to end up with someone who might turn out like my father in the long run. I know everyone has their own things. I know I’ll have and build an amazing life w someone. But haven’t had a close relationship with father since middle school. No hugs or kisses with v short conversations. Would you want the girl to disclose it very early on in the dating process? Would it be a problem for your family? Would you work with her if she told you she doesn’t trust as easily & might have to push the wall down a little in order for her to trust you with her and her life?
