I recently had a conversation with a friend about emotional processing. She suggested that some men have the ability to temporarily put emotions aside and deal with them later, for example focusing on work or a task first and processing feelings afterwards. I’m curious what that experience is actually like from the inside. When something emotional happens, are you able to put those feelings aside and come back to them later?
