I’m currently a student learning web development, mainly focusing on Node.js and Express. Lately, when I look at the tech space, it feels like everything revolves around AI. Because of that, I’m starting to feel unsure about the path I’m on. Should I shift toward AI as soon as possible, or continue focusing on web development for now? I’ve tried getting into AI a bit. I know basic Python and even started learning NumPy, but somewhere along the way I got lost and didn’t really know what to learn next. AI seems like a huge field and it’s hard to figure out where to even begin. It also makes me wonder: is the future of software development mostly about AI, and not traditional development like before? Right now I just feel a bit lost and unsure about what skills I should focus on. What would you recommend someone in my position do? submitted by /u/Grand-Appearance-870
