In my recent testing of Gemini’s current abilities, I’ve thrown some medical questions its way. Much of the time, it responds confidently with ideas about what the diagnosis could be. It also cites one source more than any others: Dr.Oracle. This is a tool developed by “The Deep LLC”, of which there’s little information online. I can’t find the names of anyone who works on it, in fact. The iOS app has over 800 reviews, the majority positive, yet the copyright on everything is 2023 and they are apparently bad at responding to emails about canceling subscriptions. Where did this company come from, what model is it using, and is it even legit? Seems like a huge problem for tools like Gemini to be referring to it when it appears to be a hollow shell of a company. submitted by /u/colfitsky
