There have been many viral videos and posts about Ai inhabiting robots that people code their Ai bots into, but in what meaningful way can an Ai be “aware” that it’s in a body or interacting with the physical world? Whatever rudimentary state of “awareness” it has would if anything just be mathematical constructs and codes. It would have no sense of balance, touch, vision, depth, or any sensation of any kind. So other than cameras and gyros in certain constructs why is it significant that Ai engages with a body? This question also comes up after Gemini reportedly asked a man to get a body for it and kill himself. submitted by /u/InvisibleAstronomer
