This is specifically for younger men (between 21 and 35). Hopefully this isn’t a question that’s been asked a million times before, but I was really curious what you all have to say now that it’s 2026 and the world has been changing so rapidly lately. I just watched some tiktoks a while ago about marriage and the comments were filled with men (and some women) all talking about why marriage sucks, how it only benefits the opposite sex, how painful it is on your wallet, etc. Basically just commentary on how all of it sucks for everyone all the time for a myriad of reasons like those, and many others that I’m sure you all know and have heard literally a billion times already by now. But I want to know how you guys with a potentially more optimistic view see things. What makes you still want to get married despite literally everything? And what makes it feel worth it to you? (And to clarify, this includes marriage to anyone, another male, a female, or whatever/whoever else. The only point that matters is your desire to get married) submitted by /u/Motor-Background106
