So, I joined University last August in a different state. This place is filled with people who are so different from me (culture, language, religion, even looks). I never thought I would have a crush on someone from this place. Well my Uni lacks good looking guys. I had noticed this decent looking senior back in August but I never felt anything strong towards him. We hardly cross paths so yeah. Then this time I kept seeing him and noticing him in our uni events. Turns out he is the vice president of the student council. He’s pursuing his Msc and about to graduate this June. Look I’m just a freshman, studying in a state i don’t feel like I belong in and yeah we are the minority here. Also we have a 5 year age gap if I think about it. I have never ever shoot my shot w anyone, I have never dated or anything, never even had a talking stage. How do I go on and about this? I have never even talked to him irl. Now that I think about it (I know I shouldn’t think this way), it feels like he is way up the ladder as compared to me. Yet I still have a crush on him. Should I follow him on IG? Try to talk to him irl? I’m scared if ppl will come at me for having the audacity as a first year kid to hit on the vice president. Idk man. submitted by /u/Aggressive-Smile-870
