At this point it really feels like OSRS players are being forced to subsidize RS3. OSRS is clearly carrying the playerbase and most of the membership revenue. RS3 removes microtransactions and suddenly membership keeps going up. It’s hard not to connect the dots. Why should OSRS players be paying more so Jagex can keep propping up a game they already ran into the ground over a decade ago? If RS3 can’t sustain itself without MTX, that shouldn’t become an extra bill for OSRS players. Leave our membership prices alone instead of milking the only version of the game that actually survived. submitted by /u/Babyzerker
