As AI models evolve, their prices are sky-rocketing. Output costs for Anthropic’s Opus 4.5 and 4.6 have increased significantly. You can definitely feel the performance difference when using them, but in my opinion, the prices are just too high. Then I saw this news claiming DeepSeek offers the same performance but way cheaper—apparently with a 97% cost reduction.
