It’s crazy that they’d increase prices before even delivering the promised regional servers, that they’ve been teasing for almost a year by now. They couldn’t even bait us with the improvement first. In Brazil, the monthly sub went up 38% and the annual sub went up an eye-watering 71% . We also don’t have an option for a monthly credit card charge, just “membership packages”, which means that there is zero grandfathering at all happening here. We already don’t earn a lot here… Our currency (BRL) is 5-to-1 with the US dollar and we don’t earn a lot of it either. One year of membership went from 244 to 419 BRL overnight. That’s like, 10% of a decently middle-class salary on one videogame… I don’t know what they were thinking here. But they sure priced me out. submitted by /u/Amphineura
