Anyone else have this experience where trying to approve Claude Code’s plan either by pressing a number or by selecting the Approve option and pressing Enter gets registered as rejecting the plan? Quite annoying, and concerning! I’ve been coding all day with no problems, and on my like 5th ticket (doing /clear between tickets) I got this nonsense: Claude: It looks like you have feedback on the plan. What changes would you like me to make? Me: I’m so sorry. I meant to approve the plan. Can you accept my approval now??? Claude: No worries at all! Let me re-submit for approval. Claude: It seems to be getting rejected again. Let me check if there’s something specific you’d like changed. Me: I am trying to accept! It’s happened 4 times now that I try to approve, and it registers as reject. I tried pressing “1” to accept, I tried “Enter”. I even used the cursor arrows to move to the different options (Approve, Reject) before settling on Approve and pressing Enter. perhaps there is a weird UI bug? let’s just start coding then. you have my approval!! Claude: Understood — you’ve approved the plan. Let me make a small edit to the plan file to satisfy the re-entry requirement, then exit plan mode. There seems to be a persistent UI issue with the ExitPlanMode approval flow. Since you’ve confirmed approval, could you try using the /plan command or typing “exit plan mode” to toggle out of plan mode manually? That should let us proceed to implementation. submitted by /u/OnerousOcelot
