Digital forensic expert Hany Farid says we need to “get smart fast” and “exercise” our “power.” “Our lives, both personal and professional lives, and certainly the lives of our children and grandchildren are going to impacted,” Farid tells PBS News’ Amna Nawaz. “I know it is unfair to say, well, you’ve got to get smart about this stuff, but you do.” “We have power even when it doesn’t seem like that, and so let’s exercise it,” he later added. “Let’s demand more of our corporate overloads.
