I’m a young 25 y/o husband and a father to a year and half old. Moved to a high cost of living area because of military obligations from a low cost of living area. How do you genuinely cope with spending so much damn money? I just spent 400 at Costco on what feels like 3 snacks for my kid and various proteins. Like the stress of being a single income household feels as though I am no where near where I should be in life, granted no college debt, orNo credit card debt. Just a car note. Emergency fund and about 15k in savings. Retirement, blah blah. On paper I look great but the anxiety of not having it figured out is terrible submitted by /u/Dudewithathung
