We need a better explanation of why Jagex believes a further price increase is justified 15 months after the last. In the same post announcing the price increase, you claim led the 2026 roadmap is the most ambitious yet. That is not correct. The only meaningful paid content we are getting in 2026 will be Blood Moon Rises in summer, with no doubt that Raids 4 will be delayed until 2027. The last meaningful paid content we have gotten was in November with the release of sailing. Yes, that was a great update, but since then, we have been in a content dry spell. If Jagex are justifying temporary game modes to cover the dry spell, then we as the players demand 3 and 6 months membership options. That is only fair if they believe filling a roadmap with temporary game modes, then give us better membership options that better fits these game modes. Your excuse of “simplifying membership options” doesn’t cut it and is a guise of trying to extract the most from your player base. You cannot have your cake and eat it too. Jagex showed us that they are a greedy and opportunistic company with their survey on price gouging a year ago, then they tried spinning it that they weren’t and when they thought we have forgotten, they went back to showing us their true colours. But we haven’t forgotten Jagex, and you have betrayed our trust once again. It’s clear this isn’t the end and we should expect year on year price increases from Jagex for the same or less. Do better Jagex, and give us more in return for a price increase. submitted by /u/Makaveli2020
