Sorry for the stupid question, but this is ridiculous. One of my relatives gets her mortgage invoices by email, even tho she never checks her email and hates anything tech-related. I asked the agency to send them by post, and they said no because of “environmental reasons”. (More like enshitification if you ask me because they don’t want the hassle to send letters) So now she keeps missing payments, gets hit with reminder fees, and somehow this is supposed to be normal. They’re a real estate agency. They literally provide a mailbox, but apparently sending a paper invoice is too much to ask in 2026. Can they actually force email-only billing, or is there something legal we can do? Thanks for your help. submitted by /u/Not_The_Hero_We_Need
