I’m (29m) struggling with finding someone I want to be with or vice versa I guess. I ended a long term relationship because I didn’t really enjoy spending time with my partner and we felt miles apart on worldviews, sense of humor, and lifestyle. However, she would have been a great mother imo. I’m just wondering if I should be more practical when “choosing” someone to spend my life with. I’ve never felt like any of the girls I’ve dated were my best friend, or even good friends. Once the honeymoon phase wears off, I kinda notice we have very little to sustain the relationship in terms of shared interests or values or compatible personalities. submitted by /u/JustIntroduction3511
