I’m curious about salaries, career paths and what the day-to-day looks like in tech sales in Switzerland. I’ve been doing some research online, but it’s always more helpful to hear directly from people who are actually working in the field. For those of you currently in tech sales (SaaS, software, IT services, cloud, etc.), I’d love to hear about your experience. What kind of roles are common in Switzerland (SDR, BDR, Account Executive, Account Manager, Enterprise Sales, etc.), and how do people typically progress in their careers? I’m also very curious about compensation. What do typical salary ranges look like in Switzerland for these roles? Which companies offer the highest compensation? Iunderstand that it probably depends on the seniority, quotas and commission structures, but any rough numbers or ranges would be really interesting to hear. Another thing I’m wondering about is the daily work. What does a typical day look like for you? How much of the job is prospecting, meetings, demos, account management, internal coordination, or working with technical teams? If anyone here is working in tech sales in Switzerland, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences, insights, or any advice you might have for someone interested in the field. submitted by /u/Michel6678
