Hey. This is my first time working in Switzerland. I work as a line cook in one small hotel in valais canton. The work conditions are terrible, 80% of the kitchen equipment is non working, from end of January till end of February we worked 40 days without a break our owner is a piece of shit, put lightly. I was supposed to finish 31.st March and now I’m being forced to work until 12.th April. My chef is threating me that I cannot leave sooner. I’m supposed to work the 12 days without contract. I’m being threatened that I won’t get my overtime pay if I don’t work till then. What should I do? I’m extremely tired, I’m anxious and I don’t know any outcomes or solves to this. I haven’t even had a chance tk talk to the owner as my chef keeps saying I won’t be let sooner than that date in April because Easter is hard for kitchen and the amount of orders will be extreme. Please help. Switzerland has been a terrible terrible terrible experience for me so far. submitted by /u/ThreePinch
