After the news today that they have increased the price of membership and the subsequent conversation about it I’ve cancelled membership on 2 of the 5 accounts I was paying for. I think the size of the increase and not grandfathering the 12 month package is really scummy and puts a bad taste in my mouth. That said, I still think I get a decent value even at the new prices. So I’m not cancelling the 3 accounts I actively play on. However I had been paying for 2 other accounts that I rarely use but was happy to keep paying for to support the game. I’m cancelling now because I think this change is greedy and unjustified, and I deserve the £20 a month more than Jagex’s overlords do. I’m interested to know if anyone is actually cancelling membership on accounts that actively play? And if so are you quitting the game or planning to pay with GP via bonds instead? submitted by /u/LeLa_Biff
