Hi ! I (20F) am going to go on a first date soon with a guy (20M) from my college that I met through Hinge two weeks ago. We have been talking a lot for the last two weeks and are trying to plan a fun activity to do together before we go out for dinner. I need some cool first date ideas that will help us get to know each other more, and that is super fun. For context, we haven’t met in person yet or called/facetimed, so I’m worried that although our texting is strong, it might be awkward in person at first, so a fun activity could diffuse the awkward tension. He is genuinely down to do whatever I suggest so lowk this is a bit of pressure (he also suggested a few things but I dont wanna go to the movies and any other outdoor activities isnt possible because my pollen allergies are so bad right now) Also, we probably cant go on a date until 2 more weeks because of spring break and scheduling issues. submitted by /u/Blink_Twice2

    Are there indoor activities?

Physical: climbing, gokarts, frolf, rent a jetski, 4 wheeling

Less physical: billiards, arcade, theme parks, carnival, museum

Walk around a city and check out random ass shops as you go?

Tbh movies and dinner sucks because it’s always slow, awkward, and more difficult to converse when you’re shoveling food down your throat or being quiet at a movie. I like the take of, Failure to Launch where they go paintballing or some actual activity.

    But hey, that’s just me.
