Remember, its not the game developers who are raising prices, it’s Jagex: a parasitic leech that drains money from the playerbase. The rising cost of membership isn’t the end of the world, but knowing that most of the money doesn’t go directly back into the game is discouraging. OSRS devs took the crumbling ruins of RS2, salvaged it, and turned it into something beautiful. Without these dedicated developers and their vision of what the game could become, there would be no OSRS. Jagex killed the game with their greed in the past, and they’ll do it again. Some part of me wishes the creative minds behind this game would find a way to cut Jagex out of the picture, because at this point it’s beginning to look like a hostage situation. submitted by /u/Krellggs
