The title says it all. I have a subscription to SkyShow and occasionally watch something there (or my wife does). Recently, I wanted to check if they had any new TV shows—A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms in particular. I looked it up and found out that it’s only available in SkyStore, which means you basically have to buy it separately. The same goes for some other popular shows (for example The Sopranos). So in their minds, the math is totally fine: subscription + additional payments for “exclusive” content (even if you already have a subscription) = profit. Thanks for nothing. P.S. This reminded me of an old Pimp My Ride meme: “I heard you like monitors, so I put a monitor (subscription) in your monitor (subscription) so you can watch your monitor (paying for subscription) while watching your monitor (also paying for subscription).” submitted by /u/and1_awesome
