It is a sensitive topic, but knowing that this poor guy was in depth, desperate, probably mentally ill rings many bells for me. It is not an excuse for his behaviour and hurting other people is the worst thing when you want to end your life. But I truly think in Switzerland beeing poor and in depth is like a death spiral. I have more than once lost my job not due to my fault but know also many highly educates friends that were suicidal during unemployment. a provocative question: are we too elitarian or why is it so mentally hard to be poor in Switzerland that many take desperate measures when in depth/hopeless jobless?
