So yesterday I was at a friend’s wedding reception and an old 80s song was playing. I wanted to know the band that played the song so I asked Siri who plays this song naming the title. First an unknown performer popped up and when I didn’t click on it Siri began automatically “listening” to the song in the background and then gave me the correct answer of the performer. I’m in my 50s so I was so intrigued that it automatically did this but also a bit concerned that I didn’t give it a command or permission to listen. You think it is gaining too much control without us normal folk even realizing? This is kind of scary to me. submitted by /u/Hermit_girl_
