Hey everyone. Long time lurker. To keep a long story short; I’ve been going through a rough year in my relationship with my wife. Miscarriage, career changes, etc. I’ve been feeling the distance, lack of desire, trying too hard, and the overwhelming feeling of “if I was someone else she’d be happier”. To get to the point of the title. Sometimes I burn a few minutes just scrolling through reels on Instagram or Facebook as I’m sure a lot of us do. But I’ve been getting these ads that revolve around the general premise of “how to win your wife back” “she loves you she’s just not in love with you” “be a man and make her desire you again”. In the past I would’ve laughed at these companies and their bs claims and felt bad for the guys that they prey on. But now I am one of those guys. Has anyone else been in this position of feeling so scared and lost that even some performative “fix it” relationship ads are getting to you? submitted by /u/cleetus_fetus_penus
