Okay so I was talking about this on another subreddit and wanted your thoughts on how I perceive what guys think: Say for example Clavicular rn. Like he’s so offensive and cheats on his girlfriend and he’s able to have this platform where men either idolise him for his extremity or hate him for shit that if a girl were to do the same, they’d focus on the actual problem. Like guys hate him because he’s a fucking loser but most likely they don’t hate him cuz he says the n word or like cheats on his girlfriend. They hate him for doing meth and doing stupid shit to “Looksmax”. But also they don’t hate him cuz it “sends a negative message”, they just don’t like that shit, simply- it’s stupid. (am I right about this?) But if a girl were to do the same they’d focus on how she’s a slut, or how she’s “not even that hot” or that she has the audacity to act like that. Both men and women would see her as unattractive for being that egotistical or for doing drugs. Women out of jealousy mainly, some might because it’s obviously bad- but it’s never obviously bad when it comes to when guys do it. Some would think he’s almost cool for it, so rebellious, changing the world of feminists etc, but it’s mainly just a bunch of guys sucking him off for his approval. Let alone anyone finding a girl cool for doing the same shit as him like some do now. The big thing is girls just like him cuz he’s hot but if he was ugly his personality would be seen exactly as it is. If it were a girl, no guy would see a girl in nearly the same light and let her treat them like that. Arguably, it’s really not about self respect but it’s that guys have an ego and there’s not much focus on the girl except for her being desperate but they are allowed to desperate, if that makes sense. I guess here in this point the girl can get away with it but she’s still seen badly is my point, she just won’t have to care like a guy would. Just my take. submitted by /u/Altruistic-Sir-3813
