I’ve been pretty impressed with Claude Code and the Opus models. I’ve used Codex too but it has not been as effective at what I’m doing (golang + angular). I’ve noticed that the current limits hit so much sooner. I’ve taken precautions to not bloat the context, instructed it to not go off generating massive amounts of markdown documentation for features in-flight etc. but I constantly hit the limits qucikly. It use to block until 11am and then 3pm… It now blocked until 3pm immediately at ~9:45 and after 30m of nothing intense, it’s blocked until 8pm. Seems like the basic Pro plan is just a paid trial at this point because it couldn’t even complete a very basic config update where it simply needs to extend a frontend config component with fields I added to the backend config model. This isn’t tricky stuff, and before it’d just do it and keep on trucking. Now it blows my usage limit. I’m seeing people complaining about the 200USD tier and gotta say the 20USD one feels like I’m donating to Anthropic. Disappointing. submitted by /u/qzhal
