Vents opening: So I decided to try mobile pking today at spindle because I saw a YouTuber farming spindle bots. I thought it would be fun. I got my first juicy kill and thought I was hot stuff. I figured, “these bots can’t fight back, they just run away. Let’s just put my VoidWaker to work and get some juicy kills”. I hopped to a 2000 lvl world, found and TBed a lvl 126 geared just like the other bots. He started running to the exit of the cave as I binded him and got him low, sitting in spindle webs. I thought “boy, these bots are super easy to kill!”. He managed to exit the cave and as I followed, he stood there and it looked like the bot was broken or he was lagging. “Perfect.” I thought to myself. “Now is the time to dump my VW specs and get out of here”. The madlad venged my VW spec and pulled out his own VW with 2 specs and killed me in seconds. My hard earned gp flashed before my eyes. I couldn’t believe this bot was actually just a madlad who had outplayed me. I realized I hadn’t put up protect from item and now I’m down 45m. I am feeling pretty bummed and figure PKing isn’t my thing, but I’m also lacking some motivation to try and get my VW back. I took on the risk, acknowledge I am a dummy for skulling with so much risk and so little experience so I accept my fate, but I still feel a bit empty and am just telling myself “it’s just a game, learn from your lesson and move on”.
