Hello, maybe this is a dumb question but I could not find the information online. My B permit is running out and I just got the mail with the extension request form. However as I am German-speaking, from the EU and fullfil the other criteria, I can also now apply for the C permit. On the website of the canton it says that it takes 3-4 months for the applications to work through. Now my question is: do I need to fill out the extension form for my B permit and apply for the C permit at the same time or do I only apply for the C permit?
