i’m in my first year of college rn and EVERYWHERE on social media people are promoting ai and how to use it to build skills and shit. but then i read articles on how ai is misused, the rise in deepfakes, artists suffering, unemployment, there’s so much to it. most importantly, it’s destroying the plant, the lack of fresh water is already a concern acc to the UN. i’m so confused. my morals don’t allow me to do learn anything related to ai, in fact i’ve boycotted all of them from long. but again, if i don’t upskill myself in this field, i feel like i’d be left behind everyone. i can’t seem to find out a solution to resolve my dilemma. submitted by /u/six_sevennn
