My husband is away a LOT. We have two medically complex kids that take up a LOT of my time, hospital appointments, specialists, operations upcoming, physical therapy, school issue etc. so I’m at home, holding things down. He’s said that he wants to “prioritise us” and “doesn’t want us to get distant” and I’m all for this, however I see some issues and I would love any suggestions. 1) babysitters for kids like ours are a pipe dream. Even grandparents are worried they’ll mess up, between the nutrition feeds, the stopping breathing etc. so date weekends and even nights are probably out. 2) he is away so much working so hard and provides so well and I love and am grateful for it. But when I can’t go to him, and he can’t come home more, and we can’t go anywhere, what do I even start with ? Thank you !. submitted by /u/parentingautismgirl
