Hello all, swiss laws newbie here :) I have been living in this apartment in Luzern for almost 2 years at this point at starting at new years the refrigerator is not working properly anymore. The temperature is contantly below zero and it freezes all my food. Since then I contacted the landlord, people came to fix it but the problem persisted and now I am waiting for new repair parts to come so they can try to fix it again. The fridge is already almost 15 years old and they say they will only consider changing it “when it is not working” (which for me it already meets that criteria). Searching online I saw that I am entitled to ask for a discount in my rent and the value can change if the issue is consider minor or significant, but that sounded very subjective for me. It has been over a month that the problem started so this sounds like a significant issue for me, but can anybody with more experience on the topic help me understand what is really reasonable for Switzerland in this scenario? Thanks in advance! submitted by /u/edugdv
