For me at least there are 2 experiences that stand out. First is that when I was 18, I won a smaller DFS tournament, tuning 50$ into 1250$. The early gambling high has made me a bit of gambler. It’s not terrible, as I was only down slightly over $300 in draftkings last year (the only place I gamble), but still that’s $300 I didn’t need to spend. The other was having sex with a crazy chick. I used interpret the “don’t stick your d in crazy” advice as something you do to avoid the time/money/headache cost of dealing with nutso girl. While this is true, I also realized that it’s there to ensure you don’t realize how much better sex with crazy is than sex with vanilla. Similar to the gambling high.
