Over a year ago I got out of a 3 year long relationship and have genuiely felt like I would never even have romantic feelings again. Until last Monday when I began my online college course through D2L and saw the most handsome guy i’ve ever seen in my entire life. I do NOT say that lightly. My first thought was oh, he’s probably too good to be true and then I read some of his discussion posts and I was like wow! He’s very intelligent and seems VERY kind! So of course my crush grows. We are the same age (early twenties), same major and we have alot in common! The thing is it’s an async class, he lives in another state, and he’s also attending in person classes at another university in addition to the course we’re both in. I thought about direct messaging/emailing him through d2l but I don’t know how likely it is for him to see it? and I don’t want to seem like a total dork. He just seems SO lovely and even if nothing ever happened, I’d would be very fortunate to even have him as a friend/someone to talk with. I don’t want to pass up this chance as this never happens to me but I really don’t know how to go about this. I do have admit I found his Linkedin and wow! I thought about adding/messaging him there but I do think that might come across weird. Also, I do feel like he is so out of my league.
