Hey guys, sorry I have no cool graphics I’m trash at art. My friend and I have been chatting about some drops we’d like to see in Raids 4 and I think we may have come up with a cool idea for a drop. Our idea is that the Raids 4 equivalent of the Thread of Elidinis is a Combat Chain item. This item would connect a main hand item and off hand item into 1 item slot. We thought this would be really cool for a handful of reasons. Primarily it would be great for content that requires swapping between a 2h and two 1h items, this would help keep your inventory from getting offset due to unequal swaps. Think of anywhere you would swap Bowfa to fang/defender, Scobow to Emberlight/defender, the list goes on. This item could come with a right click option to adjust the items inside of the chain almost like a rune pouch, and clicking on the item would equip both items within the chain. Dupes would still feel good aswell since you could have multiple combat chains holding different set-ups, although i think it would have to somehow show you the main hand item inside the chain for clarity. Odviously this isn’t a perfect suggestion, I think there’s plenty of room for it to be refined, but I felt I would be letting a good idea slip if I didn’t atleast throw the idea into the void and see what everyone thinks of it.
